Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join a dynamic radiology department. The ideal candidate will have experience in both general radiography and surgical imaging providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Scheduling Details:
- Shift: 5x8-hour shifts (3:00 PM 11:30 PM)
- Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekends
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
- Orientation: 16 hours (non-billable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders
- Provide imaging support for surgical procedures (evening coverage required)
- Ensure proper patient positioning and radiation safety protocols
- Maintain and operate radiologic equipment effectively
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and surgical teams
- Accurately document procedures in EMR systems
- Ensure high standards of patient care and safety
Requirements:
- ARRT (R) Certification (required)
- BLS Certification (required)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in radiography
- Surgery (OR) imaging experience required
- Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
