Job Summary

Project Name: The Data Center Colocation and Migration Project

TASKS & DUTIES:
  • Lead application discovery and technical assessments (frontend backend databases middleware APIs).
  • Evaluate legacy systems and define modernization refactoring and cloud migration strategies.
  • Architect and implement containerization solutions (Docker Kubernetes) and cloud-native designs.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing and deployments.
  • Modernize monolithic applications into microservices-based architectures where applicable.
  • Develop secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2 SAML IAM roles).
  • Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform Ansible CloudFormation) to enable scalable deployments.
  • Oversee database migration performance tuning and cloud storage transitions.
  • Implement monitoring logging and observability solutions (e.g. ELK CloudWatch Datadog).
  • Lead go-live activities troubleshooting and production stabilization.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure Security QA and Operations teams to ensure secure compliant and high-performing solutions.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical standards and best practices.

REQUIRED SKILLS
  • 8 years of experience in full stack development within enterprise or cloud environments.
  • Strong expertise in modern frontend frameworks (e.g. React Angular Vue) and backend technologies (e.g. Python).
  • Proven experience leading cloud migration or application modernization initiatives.
  • Advanced knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker Kubernetes).
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS Azure or GCP services (IaaS PaaS serverless).
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines DevOps practices and automated testing strategies.
  • Experience designing microservices architectures and API-first systems.
  • Strong understanding of secure coding standards identity management and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and performance optimization.
  • Excellent analytical architectural design and stakeholder communication skills.
