Position Overview: Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and patient-focused X-Ray Technician to join a hospital Radiology team. The ideal candidate will have surgical imaging experience and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment. Evening shifts and weekend rotations are required.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray procedures according to physician orders.
Assist with surgical imaging and provide coverage during evening surgeries.
Ensure patient safety comfort and proper positioning during imaging.
Operate and maintain radiology equipment in compliance with safety standards.
Document imaging procedures accurately using the EPIC system.
Collaborate with radiologists physicians and healthcare staff to provide optimal patient care.
Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Adhere to all facility policies procedures and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
ARRT (R) Certification required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
Minimum 1 year of X-Ray Technician experience in the specialty.
Surgical imaging experience is mandatory.
At least 1 year of EPIC experience required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
First-time travel candidates may be considered based on experience.
