Coordinator I, Licensing

*We are seeking applicants with a local presence in Knoxville TN or the surrounding communities.

The purpose of this on-site job is to provide administrative and research support to the Licensing team to maintain operational licenses and permits across the companys multistate footprint.

Essential Functions    

1. Support timely renewals payments and compliance documentation.
2. Ensure accurate records in companys licensing database system Avalara License Management (ALM)
3. Research monitor and update state/local licensing requirements impacting store operations and other business activities.
4. Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
5. Support Licensing Specialists on daily licensing tasks and special projects as instructed.
6. Perform other tasks as needed.

Qualifications :

•  This position requires candidates to be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
• Associate degree or a minimum of 2 years related experience.
• Related experience in accounting tax real estate compliance legal support/paralegal or title/mortgage operations preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
• Understanding of compliance principles and confidential information handling.
• Highly organized; strong attention to detail and time management
• Clear verbal and written communication
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively; exercise sound judgment and escalate as needed
• Prioritize and adapt to changing demands; manage multiple tasks meet deadlines and maintain urgency
