Carpenter

Responsible for the construction installation and repairs of carpentry items and projects of small- to mid-level scopes.

• Construct and finish items such as cabinets and work surfaces.
• Install and perform repairs on cabinets work surfaces and the like.
• Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints.
• Create accurate material and cut lists for projects.
• Maintain a safe clean and orderly work area.
• Perform all duties in accordance with departmental and/or Company safety policies and practices including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment.

Qualifications :

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Two (2) years of related experience education or an equitable combination of education and experience strongly preferred.
• Must be able to carry out all duties in strict accordance with safety practices.
• Physical requirements include but are not limited to extended periods of standing and walking bending reaching grasping kneeling and lifting and using heavy/awkward items.
• Must be able to safely and effectively use hand and power tools.
• Must be able to carry and communicate by two-way radio.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
