The City of OFallon is looking for energetic and dependable team members for the position of Dance Instructor. Are you looking for a part-time opportunity where you can use your dance know-how and skills in decision making problem solving and dealing with the public Our Dance Instructors enjoy a flexible schedule along with a fun work environment and earn competitive pay with an expected starting rate of pay of $21.00 hourly.
As part of our Recreation Department this position plays an important role in providing dance instruction to groups and individuals. Generally youll teach a few classes each week including helping out when a substitute teacher is needed.
As a Dance Instructor your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Setting up facilities for programs events games and activities
- Providing information and top notice customer service to patrons
- Researching and proposing new programs as well as providing input on improving existing ones
- Developing program curriculum and schedules
Were looking for someone who is knowledgeable in dance elements and skills including acrobats and tumbling. This person should be comfortable leading a group and teaching individuals. Availability to work evenings during class times is required.
