Position Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Location: Cincinnati OH 45219 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive cardiopulmonary care to patients across all age groups in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality respiratory therapy using advanced invasive and noninvasive techniques while ensuring compliance with clinical protocols and patient safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assess patient respiratory status monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans based on clinical response
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including mechanical ventilation airway management and oxygen therapy
Deliver both invasive and noninvasive respiratory care interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient medical records and departmental systems
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions treatment plans and home care techniques
Train and precept students and newly hired staff on respiratory care procedures and best practices
Participate in clinical meetings training sessions and competency assessments
Assume leadership responsibilities including charge therapist duties as assigned
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong cardiopulmonary assessment and critical care skills
Expertise in mechanical ventilation and airway management
Effective patient monitoring and clinical decision-making
Ability to respond to emergency/code situations
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Accurate medical documentation and regulatory compliance
