Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support middle school students through individualized and inclusive instructional practices. This role involves delivering both push-in and pull-out services to ensure students with diverse learning needs receive appropriate academic support and achieve success in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
Instructional Support
Deliver specialized instruction using push-in and pull-out service models
Adapt and modify curriculum to meet student needs in alignment with IEPs
Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive classroom environments
Student Development & Progress Monitoring
Track and evaluate student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
Maintain accurate documentation for student performance and compliance requirements
Support academic social and behavioral development of students
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with school staff administrators and support teams to implement effective interventions
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and evaluations
Required Qualifications
Active New Jersey Department of Education Instructional Certification
Certification in Middle School Special Education
Highly Qualified status in English Language Arts and/or Mathematics
Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
