We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide high-quality cardiopulmonary care across inpatient and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will deliver both critical and non-critical respiratory care services using invasive and noninvasive techniques while maintaining a high level of professionalism and adherence to clinical standards.
Responsibilities
Assess patients and monitor their response to respiratory therapies
Perform invasive and noninvasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
Develop and recommend appropriate respiratory care plans based on patient outcomes
Accurately document all treatments and patient information in medical records
Educate patients on disease processes treatments home care and safety measures
Provide age-appropriate care across all patient populations
Precept and support new staff and students as needed
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams regarding cardiopulmonary status
Participate in departmental meetings training and competency evaluations
Assume charge or team lead responsibilities when assigned
Required Education
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
Must hold Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
Required Certifications & Licensure
Active state license to practice respiratory care
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) NBRC
Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association
Required Skills & Experience
Strong knowledge of cardiopulmonary disease management
Ability to perform critical care respiratory interventions
Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Skills & Experience
13 years of respiratory therapy experience
Membership with the American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC)
Preferred Certifications
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) especially for NICU exposure
