As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Florence KY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic logistics and distribution location where you will monitor entry points manage access control procedures and help to support a secure environment through visible presence and professional communication. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures screening visitors drivers and/or vendors and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points for a logistics and distribution location verify credentials and/or shipping documentation and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and document security-related concerns according to site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter observing for unusual activity access irregularities and/or operational issues that may require reporting or follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
