Job Summary

Aretum is seeking a skilled and highly motivated Test / QA Engineer. As a Test / QA Engineer you will validate system functionality data accuracy and integration performance.

Due to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans across system components
• Validate data pipelines and risk scoring outputs
• Test APIs and integrations
• Support UAT with stakeholders
• Automate regression testing where feasible

• Testing Types:Functional integration regression UAT support
• API Testing:Postman REST clients automated API validation
• Data Validation:SQL queries dataset comparison reconciliation checks
• Test Automation:Basic scripting (Python/JavaScript) test frameworks
• Defect Tracking:Jira or similar tools
• Test Case Design:Requirements traceability edge case identification
• Performance Testing (Basic):Load testing concepts response validation
• CI/CD Integration:Running tests in pipelines
• Documentation:Test plans test cases defect reports
• Basic Understanding of Healthcare Data:Enough to validate outputs logically
• Collaboration:Working with engineers to isolate and reproduce issues

Travel Requirements

This is a remote position; however occasional travel may berequiredbased on project needs client meetings team collaboration events or training is expected to be less than 10% and will be communicated in advance whenever possible.
