Senior Full-Stack Engineer, Webshops

The opportunity
Were hiring for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our LiveOps team. We are building a firstparty webshops platform that lets game developers route players to browserbased stores instead of inapp purchases; unlocking up to 20% additional margin versus traditional platform fees. Youll join a small senior founding pod responsible for shipping the initial GA product and rapidly iterating it with real game studios.

You will own large pieces of both the playerfacing webshop experiences and the multitenant backend services that power them. Youll work closely with a small team in a highly autonomous AInative development environment where using AI tools is expected.

The webshop is the player-facing surface of Unitys broader Commerce Management Platform; a new initiative that gives developers a single dashboard to manage their entire digital catalog pricing promotions and payment providers across mobile app stores web and PC. More than 70% of the top 1000 mobile games are already built with Unity and the IAP SDK already manages their in-game economies. The web shop is what closes the loop: a branded direct-to-player storefront thats natively integrated with the catalog and entitlements developers already manage through Unity with Stripe as the launch payment partner.

This is a handson productminded role for someone who loves building from 0 to 1 moving fast with a small team and shaping not just the code but the product and the engineering model itself.

What youll be doing

• Design build and maintain conversionfocused webshop frontends and multitenant backend services with strong reliability and SLA expectations.
• Ensure endtoend quality across the stack including performance security observability and maintainability.
• Work in a small team to ship the initial GA version of Unitys webshops product.
• Rapidly iterate on features based on real customer usage and feedback.
• Prototype and refine features directly with game teams integrating the webshop into their titles.
• Collaborate with the team to shape requirements propose UX flows and influence the roadmap.
• Translate highlevel product ideas into concrete specs technical designs and shipped software.
• Use AI tools aggressively throughout the development lifecycle for coding scaffolding refactoring debugging and exploratory design.
• Help the team define what AIfirst engineering best practices look like in reality.
• Help define the technical foundations that will support many shops and customers; i.e. multitenancy configuration extensibility etc.
• Influence how this effort evolves into a larger platform organization or dedicated product line over time.

What were looking for

• Extensive fullstack engineering experience with a proven track record of independently building and shipping userfacing web products endtoend.
• Strong frontend skills with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (e.g. React Vue) with attention to UX performance and conversionoriented design.
• Strong backend skills building scalable multitenant services and APIs including reliability observability and performance tuning in production.
• Comfortable working across the full stack from database to UI; languageflexible with Golang experience as a plus.
• Actively uses AI today to enhance development and is excited to push the limits of AIassisted workflows.
• Experience working closely with PMs to shape requirements and make tradeoffs comfortable with ambiguity and incomplete specs and inclined to propose solutions rather than wait for direction.
• Genuine interest in games and the gaming ecosystem.
• Thrives in small autonomous teams with high expectations and a strong bias for shipping v1s quickly.

• Experience in game monetization webshops ecommerce (especially loyalty personalization or growth mechanics) payments and checkout infrastructure or developerfacing platforms.
