Supervisor Mortgage Technical Analysts

Job Summary
This position is responsible for administrating and supervising the Analyst/Developer and Projects team. They will collaborate with the Mortgage Technical Developers and Analysts to ensure effective management of the mortgage loan origination systems associated applications and reporting functions. The MTA Supervisor will also collaborate with the Mortgage Project Lead to prioritize initiatives assign technical resources and assist with managing projects.
Additional position functions include:
- Department staffing including job description preparation position postings interviews hiring decisions and staff scheduling.
- Staff development including one-on-one coaching performance improvement plans and performance reviews.
- Conduct recurring team meetings.
- Assign tasks and monitor analysts workloads.
Essential Functions
- Provide staff development coaching and team alignment for all direct reports as well as handle supervisory duties such as approving time off performance reviews disciplinary actions and assisting with department staffing.
- Partner with the Mortgage Developers and Analysts to perform periodic reviews of key mortgage systems to ensure optimal functionality is maintained.
- Provide leadership and assist with managing associated projects as requested.
- Supervise a team and collaborate with Management to ensure departmental goals are achieved.
- Utilize a ticket/case management system to monitor the workload of the Technical Analyst team and assign daily tasks.
- Attend and/or facilitate meetings to represent the Analyst/Developer team while documenting pertinent information and disseminating it to the team.
- Facilitate release and upgrade meetings ahead of implementations.
- Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Wings policies and procedures and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.
Qualifications :
Minimum Formal Qualifications for this Position
- Bachelors Degree in Business administration Economics Finance or another relevant field of study.
- 4 years relevant lending financial experience or project management Required to include:
- 2 years systems administration/technical experience. Required
- 1 years experience with team leadership or management. Required
- 1 years experience vendor management experience. preferred
Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead others through expertise superior performance solid communication delegation and time management.
- Ability to develop system electronic data interfaces for the transmission of data to relevant vendors or internal systems.
- Expert technical acumen in relational database design/business intelligence concepts for use in custom report design through Crystal Reports and reporting systems inherent to the lending platforms being used.
- Data management and analysis skills using various import/export/storage/processing systems.
- Expert knowledge of Mortgage Lending business - terminology and process flow.
- Strong working knowledge administrating systems and all related programs.
- Ability to prioritize workload and allocate resources effectively across different projects as needed.
- Excellent coordinating and networking skills.
- Ability to interact with all levels of management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to include conducting presentations.
- Analytical and technical problem solving.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills to include Excel (including advanced function/formula & pivot table abilities) Word and Outlook.
- Strong experience with development tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft Visual Studio Team Services.
- Working proficiency in regard to understanding and working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server.
- Basic experience developing mobile applications (such as iOS or Android).
- (preferred) Experience building multi-threaded applications.
- (preferred) Experience with data analysis using Microsoft Access.
Certifications Required:
- Completion of ICE Technology (Mortgage LOS Provider) Developer Program within 1 Year preferred
Additional Information :
The pay range for this position is: $81182 to $97968 Annually (S16) plus 15% annual target bonus.
Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience specific skills and competencies education certifications location and internal pay equity.
