About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineering Intern to support power systems operations scheduling and maintenance activities across renewable energy and gridconnected facilities. This role is ideal for students interested in understanding how realworld electrical systems are operated maintained and kept reliable. You will assist engineers and field personnel with asset scheduling maintenance planning equipment assessments and troubleshooting of electrical and control systems.
What You Will Do
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance scheduling for electrical equipment such as inverters switchgear transformers relays and control systems.
- Assist with reviewing maintenance logs outage schedules and equipment performance data to identify trends or potential issues.
- Participate in field walkdowns equipment inspections and verification of maintenance tasks.
- Help update and maintain asset databases maintenance documentation equipment status records and engineering change logs.
- Collaborate with field technicians to troubleshoot operational issues involving sensors wiring communications protective devices and control logic.
- Review and interpret singleline diagrams wiring diagrams and equipment nameplate data to support operations decisions.
- Contribute to rootcause analyses following equipment alarms outages or abnormal operational events.
- Support communication across teams to coordinate maintenance windows field activities and equipment readiness.
