Security Officer Hospital Patrol Afternoon Shift

As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol - Afternoon Shiftyou will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal at a healthcare location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents and support patients visitors and staff with outstanding customer service and this role you will bring a caring reliable approach work as part of a team and act with integrity while helping create a welcoming and well-managed environment.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Observe and report suspicious activity unusual conditions and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Support access control and visitor-related processes in accordance with location policies and assigned responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Required hospital vaccinations must be obtained and maintained.
• Must be willing to work in a hospital environment that may include a morgue.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
