Pay Rate: $18.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
• Respond to incidents maintenance concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to property management and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies common areas parking areas and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity reporting suspicious behavior property damage and/or policy violations in accordance with post orders.
• Support daily operations by documenting incidents completing routine reports and assisting with tenant and visitor inquiries in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
