Job Summary
Who We Are Looking ForCrisis24 is a global leader in integrated risk management providing crisis response security and product risk consulting services to multinational organizations and insurers. The Product Risk Response (PRR) team supports clients before during and after product safety incidents including food contamination events and product are seeking a Safety Consultant to join our US-based PRR team. This mid-level role is ideal for a professional with food safety and/or quality experience who is ready to take on greater responsibility in live response situations while continuing to develop consulting and crisis management skills. The position requires knowledge of FDA USDA and FSMA regulations and experience with insurance-driven recall & TravelBased in the United StatesRemote or hybrid work arrangementMust be available for response activities including occasional travelOn-call and after-hours support required (rota-based)What You Will Work onProduct Risk & Recall ResponseSupport product recall response cases including contamination events and regulatory-driven response activities and assist with client communications data collection and response tracking during live with internal teams and approved third-party providers to support execution of response in on-call and after-hours response Management & Administrative SupportManage case documentation timelines response logs invoicing and Salesforce case summaries and post-incident response actions and deadlines across multiple all documentation complies with PRR & Technical SupportSupport food safety and product risk consulting engagements including recall preparedness and risk regulatory and technical research related to FDA USDA and FSMA in developing client-facing materials templates and response foundational food safety knowledge to support incident analysis and technical expertise through training and supervised client & Operational SupportCollaborate with US and global PRR teams to ensure consistent service operational and administrative support to senior consultants during high-tempo response to improvements in response tools templates and internal confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive client and incident organizational and case management skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced response-driven environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsAttention to detail and accuracy under pressureProfessional judgment and discretionCollaborative mindset with growing independenceWillingness to participate in on-call and after-hours workAccountabilityPerformance is measured by quality and timeliness of case support responsiveness during live incidents adherence to SOPs and ongoing professional client-facing documentation and reports for reviewCoordinate approved response activities under supervisionNo financial contractual or final decision-making authorityWhat You Will BringRequired QualificationsBachelors degree in Food Science Food Safety Biology Public Health Supply Chain or related field25 years of experience in food safety quality compliance or related rolesExposure to food safety incidents recalls audits or regulatory complianceStrong administrative documentation and coordination experienceProficiency with Microsoft Office and case management toolsPreferred QualificationsWorking knowledge of FDA USDA and FSMA regulationsExperience supporting product recalls or crisis/incident responseHACCP PCQI or similar certificationsExperience working with insurers consultants and/or clientsCompensation & BenefitsCrisis24 offers a competitive compensation and benefits package aligned with the US market with opportunities for advancement within the PRR practice.
