Transportation Driver- Palm Bay Adult Day Training Program

Pay Rate: $16.39 per hour

Schedule: MondayFriday approximately 1:30 PM 5:00 PM (up to 20 hours per week; schedule may vary based on program and coverage needs)

Easterseals Florida is seeking a responsible courteous and service-driven Van Driver to support our Palm Bay Adult Day Training this role you will safely transport program participants between their homes and our center ensuring a positive and respectful experience for every passenger.

What Youll Be Doing

• Safely operate program vehicles and strictly adhere to all motor vehicle laws policies and procedures
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers at all times
• Conduct and document required pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Report any safety concerns or vehicle maintenance needs to your supervisor
• Treat all passengers with dignity respect and exceptional customer service
• Assist with additional pick-ups and/or drop-offs as needed
• Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of assigned vehicles
• Complete and submit daily attendance and mileage logs accurately

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• At least six months of related experience
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Minimum age of 21 (required to operate company vehicles)
• Ability to meet Easterseals Floridas approved driver qualifications including a good driving history
• Flexibility to adjust hours as needed for program coverage
