Systems Furniture Technician

Job Summary
The position works in the field and shall be skilled with demolition installation and reconfiguration of system furniture wood casegoods to include but not limited to technical workbenches healthcare furniture classroom furniture and warehouse storage racks. Will support the FBI in the following areas to include but not limited to:
- Perform installation and disassembly of Unicor Teknion Kimball Steelcase product to include properly inventory palletizing and sorting furniture parts and components for warehouse storage and retrieval.
- Walk the projects with the Construction Project Manager and identify any potential issues that affect furniture installations and renovations.
- Coordinates oversees and/or manages repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians.
- Clean furniture and furniture fabric for product(s) prior to and/or after installation.
- Coordinate and assist in ensuring the agencys furniture requirements for new facilities and renovations of existing FBI spaces are met within code and on schedule.
- Provide timely suggestions and propose solutions to government project manager on certain projects.
- Makes recommendations to Construction Project Manager and/or COR concerning Quality Assurance and Inspection results (i.e. electrical whips power poles etc.)
