Position Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing care in a secure facility. The LPN will administer medications execute physician orders assist with clinical procedures and support the medical unit while ensuring compliance with healthcare and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide basic nursing care including administering medications supporting exams and monitoring patient health
- Conduct sick calls and maintain accurate medical documentation
- Manage medical supplies and ensure safe storage of medications
- Support clinical operations including chart reviews and follow-ups for complex cases
- Maintain confidentiality safety and compliance with accreditation standards
- Assist in emergencies and coordinate patient movement as needed
- Communicate effectively with staff administration and patients
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved nursing program with LPN certification
- Active LPN license in the state of employment
- Valid drivers license
- Strong clinical communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a secure structured and high-paced environment
