Department/Unit Summary
This role involves independently managing HSC-level projects related to third-party support and clinical informatics with a focus on implementing and optimizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems particularly MediTech. Key responsibilities include leading change management efforts developing and executing best practices facilitating system builds and testing and providing training and support to end users. The position also drives enhancements related to CPOE clinical documentation and specialized care areas ensuring alignment with LifePoint and industry standards to support high-quality patient care. Collaboration with internal teams and external vendors is essential to keep projects on track while maintaining adherence to scope timelines and regulatory guidelines. Regular and reliable attendance is required.
How youll contribute
The Clinical Informaticist implements strategies focused on the adoption of Meditech for use in the Acute Care areas. Leads development of workflow centric processes by physicians clinicians therapists and others at LifePoints facilities by actively collaborating with internal departments within the Health Support Center (HSC) to assure clinical processes and workflow requirements are met within the Meditech solution. Serves both internal co-workers and external customers clients patients contractors and vendors.

Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associates degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
Minimum of 3 years experience in acute hospital setting
Meditech experience preferred
