Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a strong background in NICU and acute care settings. The role primarily supports Labor & Delivery and neonatal populations requiring advanced clinical skills and flexibility across pediatric units.

Key Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients
Support Labor & Delivery (L&D) with neonatal resuscitation and respiratory interventions
Manage ventilators CPAP and oxygen therapy in NICU/PICU settings
Respond to critical care situations with rapid clinical decision-making
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
Float to PICU and pediatric acute care units as required

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
Pediatric Acute Care
Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of NICU experience
Recent experience in a Childrens Hospital setting (within the last 3 years) preferred
Experience in Labor & Delivery (L&D) required
First-time travelers accepted

Certifications & Licensure

NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Required
BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Required
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Required (or must be obtained upon offer if applicable)
State License (Indiana) Required
PALS (Preferred)
Education must be accredited by CoARC and recognized by CHEA
