Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule preventive maintenance and repair work with production to minimize downtime.
- Assign and track maintenance work orders ensuring proper completion and followthrough by maintenance technicians.
- Perform electrical installation and repairs ranging from lowvoltage control wiring to 480V threephase systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment from routine part replacements to full equipment rebuilds.
- Support facility operations including utilities building systems and production areas such as filling blending tank farm and warehouse.
- Coordinate with outside contractors for facility and plant maintenance ensuring documentation and reports are properly filed for tracking and audits and stop production if safety or quality concerns arise.
What Youll Need To Succeed As A Maintenance Technician
- 5 years of industrial or facility maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical mechanical and general maintenance systems.
- Experience troubleshooting and working with PLC systems.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple work orders PM schedules and maintenance priorities.
- Proficiency using computers and common software tools such as Windows spreadsheets and maintenance documentation systems.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced production environment.
- Willingness to work varied shifts participate in an oncall rotation and coordinate with contractors and internal teams.
- Physical ability to walk frequently lift up to 40 lbs and work in industrial environments including heights confined spaces temperature extremes and around chemicals.
