Position Title: Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech) Location: Cincinnati Ohio 45219 Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: Day Shift (8:30 AM 7:00 PM)
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech) to join a dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures across inpatient outpatient surgical and emergency settings while ensuring the highest standards of patient care safety and image quality.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine portable and fluoroscopic radiographic examinations as ordered by physicians
Accurately position patients and operate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
Ensure radiation safety by applying appropriate shielding techniques and adhering to ALARA principles
Assist with imaging procedures across multiple departments including radiology inpatient units outpatient services and surgical areas
Maintain and troubleshoot radiographic equipment; report any malfunctions promptly
Coordinate and schedule imaging procedures to support efficient workflow and patient throughput
Manage patient imaging records including exam documentation modifications and order verification in electronic systems
Skills & Competencies
Expertise in radiographic imaging and patient positioning
Strong understanding of radiation safety and protection standards (ALARA)
Knowledge of medical terminology and sterile techniques
Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting imaging equipment
Excellent patient care communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage workflow and coordinate scheduling effectively
Commitment to compliance quality assurance and safety standards
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Active ARRT certification
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and safety protocols
