Learn more: As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a university location you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols remain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents and support students staff and visitors with clear communication and professional customer service. You will respond to calls for service observe and report unusual activity and work as part of a team that is agile reliable innovative caring and guided by integrity.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students faculty staff and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings common areas parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and observe pedestrian and vehicle traffic for unusual activity assisting with directions and/or general information as needed.
• Complete detailed reports and logs including incident reports patrol activity and service requests in accordance with post orders and site guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Have a guard card and/or license preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
