Diagnostic Imaging Radiology Clinical Instructor Job Responsibilities:
- Provides work assignments direction and support to Radiology Students based on program and individual student needs.
- Maintains equipment exam rooms and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
- Ensures rooms are stocked with appropriate supplies prior to procedures beginning.
- Operates imaging and other related equipment according to manufacturers specifications as evidenced by exam results.
Additional Qualifications:
- Certification -Basic Life Support Upon Start; American Registered Radiologic Technologists Upon StartMust be certified by at least one of the following: ARRT or ARDMS or CNT or CVT or NMTCB or RVT or CAMRT or NMTCB; as applicable with additional certification in an applicable imaging modality required.
- Licensure -Licensed Radiologic Technologist Upon Start State Licensure required for all INOVA non-Hospital Licensed centers but not required if working onsite at an Inova Hospital and/or in Nuclear Medicine.
- Experience -Three years of experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist in a hospital/ healthcare environment.
- Education - Associates degree or Graduate of an accredited school/program of Radiology or Nuclear Medicine with a valid certification.
- Experience: Prior experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist and/or Computed Tomography Technologist in a hospital/healthcare environment preferred.
