• Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

• Job Length - This is a temporary position starting immediately with an expected duration until August 2026.
• Hours and Days:
• 1st Shift
• Monday Through Friday
• 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Job Description: Per Mar Security Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Summer Security Officer to support a client site undergoing building renovations. This role will primarily focus on fire watch duties ensuring the safety of the premises during construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct hourly patrols (rounds) throughout designated areas of the building
• Monitor for potential fire hazards safety risks or large leaks
• Maintain a strong awareness of surroundings and report any concerns immediately
• Accurately document patrols and incidents in written reports
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and site protocols

Requirements:

• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong written communication skills
• Ability to walk frequently and remain active throughout the shift
• Dependable responsible and accountable
• Punctual with a strong commitment to attendance and reliability
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions

Preferred Qualities:

• Prior security or patrol experience (not required but a plus)
• Professional and responsible demeanor
• Pass background check
• Must pass on-site drug test at time of hire
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security Integrity Communication Excellent Service and Accountability
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be able to be professional in all settings maintain open communication with the Operations Manager and be able to learn quickly
• Must be able to obtain a DSPS Private Security Person license
• Must be willing to participate in the Companys pre-employment screening process including drug screen and background investigation
• Must not have any felonies per DSPS Licensing requirements
