About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Social Worker to provide high-quality client-centered support through a fully remote setting. This role involves working with diverse populations helping individuals and families navigate challenges related to mental health social services and overall well-being.
The ideal candidate is empathetic detail-oriented and comfortable delivering services virtually while maintaining strong ethical and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide virtual counseling case management and psychosocial support to clients
- Conduct comprehensive client assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Connect clients with appropriate community resources and support services
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams healthcare providers and external agencies
- Monitor client progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Ensure compliance with all federal state (DC) and organizational guidelines
- Participate in team meetings supervision and ongoing training
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Licensed Social Worker (LSW LCSW or equivalent) in Washington DC (required)
- Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
- Minimum 2 years of professional social work experience (clinical or non-clinical)
- Experience with telehealth or remote service delivery preferred
- Strong knowledge of DC social service systems and resources
- Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Clinical experience (LCSW preferred for therapy-focused roles)
- Experience working with diverse or underserved populations
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Bilingual skills are a plus
Required Skills:
Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapy Occupational Therapy & Speech language Therapy. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans. - Provide emotional support to patients and their families. - Document patient information accurately and timely.
Required Education:
. College Degree or equivalent. At least 2 years experience in a Staffing role performing similar work duties. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
