Travel MRI Technologist(Nights)

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Pittsfield MA.

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Location: Pittsfield MA
Hourly Pay: $47.00
Non-taxed Stipend: $1246.00
Weekly Total Pay: $2656.00
Weekend Requirements: None/Holiday coverage if required
On Call Requirements: POSSIBLE CALL; after midnight the department is covered by call.
Traveler Policy: WILL NOT CONSIDER ANY TRAVELER WHO RESIDES WITHIN 50 MILES OF FACILITY. To avoid delays in processing please include perm address at profile upload. Will always work with another Tech Aide or another MRI Tech/Traveler will never work solo

Ratio: Approximately 9 patients/shift
8hrs non-billable orientation

** ALL TRAVELERS UPLOADED TO MUST NOTE WHEN THEY CAN BE REACHED AND HAVE VOICEMAIL SET UP ON THEIR PHONES. TRAVELERS WITHOUT VOICEMAIL SET UP WHEN A FACILITY REACHES OUT WILL BE REDIRECTED

Key Responsibilities:

Taking patient medical histories
Answering questions about the procedure
Positioning patients according to established protocols
Adjusting equipment as needed to produce high-quality images
Evaluating images to make sure they meet the ordering providers requirements
Entering data into electronic medical records

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

2 Years CURRENT Magnetic Resonance Imaging/MRI experience required
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (MR) Certification - Required
GE Equipment experience - Required
Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
Must be willing to work weekends and evenings
Must be willing to take call as needed
Traveler must have their own vehicle
Perm address must be included in traveler profile
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (MRI) Certification is required
Active American Heart Association BLS is required
Strong communication professionalism and reliability
