Position Overview
The Desktop Engineer will support and manage enterprise endpoint devices with a focus on ChromeOS Google Workspace and modern device management platforms.
This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with experience supporting diverse endpoint environments including ChromeOS Windows macOS and mobile devices within a large enterprise setting. The engineer will play a key role in device lifecycle management policy enforcement and end-user support.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and support ChromeOS devices using Google Admin Console
Manage device configurations policies and security settings within Google Workspace
Support and troubleshoot endpoints across ChromeOS Windows macOS and mobile platforms
Administer and maintain MDM/UEM platforms (Omnissa Workspace ONE Intune JAMF or similar)
Enforce device compliance security policies and access controls
Support BYOD initiatives and ensure proper device enrollment and governance
Troubleshoot hardware OS and application-related issues across enterprise endpoints
Collaborate with security infrastructure and EUC teams to maintain endpoint health and compliance
Assist with device provisioning lifecycle management and platform improvements
Required Qualifications
3 years of desktop support or endpoint engineering experience in large enterprise environments (1000 endpoints)
Hands-on experience with Google Admin Console ChromeOS management and Google Workspace
Experience administering MDM/UEM platforms (Omnissa Workspace ONE Intune JAMF or similar)
Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple operating systems (ChromeOS Windows macOS mobile)
Familiarity with device compliance endpoint security policies and BYOD management
Experience working in fast-paced enterprise-scale environments
