Job Summary
Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Santa Fe NM 87505
Assignment Type: Travel/Contract
Duration: 15 Weeks (High Possibility of Extension)
Schedule: 36 Hours/Week
Shift: Night Shift 6:00 PM 6:30 AM
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality patient care in a clinical setting. The LPN will work under the supervision of Registered Nurses and physicians supporting patient care needs and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including monitoring vital signs and patient conditions
- Assist with daily living activities such as hygiene mobility and comfort care
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by physicians or RNs
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Support infection control and safety protocols
- Collaborate with nurses physicians and other healthcare staff
- Ensure a clean organized and patient-focused care environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience
- Active New Mexico (NM) LPN License or Compact State License
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
