The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of thoracic imaging. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Applicants must be American Board of Radiology certified or eligible with sub-specialty training in Cardiothoracic Radiology.
Teaching responsibilities may include daily clinical supervision of residents and cardiothoracic imaging fellows and lecturing to medical students radiology residents fellows and trainees from other departments.
Clinical responsibilities may include interpretation of chest radiographs thoracic CT and thoracic MRI. Performance of thoracic needle biopsies is preferred. There is an option to participate in the cardiovascular CT and MRI clinical practice. The successful candidate will also participate in shared after-hours and weekend coverage.
Penn Radiology provides clinical services at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Penn Presbyterian Medical Center Pennsylvania Hospital the Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Medical Center and affiliated outpatient imaging centers in Pennsylvania New Jersey and Delaware.
