Responsibilities in our Childcare Program:
- Learn & implement the FrogStreet curriculum suitable for each age group of children!!
- Support a variety of educational techniques (storytelling educational play media etc.) to teach children
- Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments through hands on modeling
- Observe each child to help them improve their social skills and build self-esteem
- Provided consistency in daily routines & care
- Actively supervise children to ensure they are always safe; moving and grooving all day long!
- Maintain a learning environment that is consistent with health and safety standards
- Track & document childrens learning progress digitally!
- Build partnerships with parents through daily communication
- Collaborate with educators within our program! Knowledge is power!
Qualifications:
- Teacher: must be 18 years of age and have a High School Diploma/GED
- Teacher: must include approved post-secondary education coursework CDA or ECE Degree
- Depending on your level of education you may also need 1-2 years of experience working in a licensed childcare facility or school
