Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a highly qualified and compassionate Mental Health Coordinator to deliver clinical mental health services within a structured facility setting. This role focuses on providing non-medical mental health support including assessments treatment planning counseling and crisis intervention. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise sound judgment and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health screenings and assessments through clinical interviews and record reviews
- Develop implement and update individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and functional levels
- Provide individual counseling and crisis intervention services
- Accurately document assessments treatment plans and progress notes in accordance with regulatory standards
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information
- Apply evidence-based psychological counseling techniques and interventions
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience including at least 2 years in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of psychological counseling theories and therapeutic practices
- Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a structured fast-paced environment
Education & Licensure
- Masters degree in Social Work Psychology Mental Health Counseling or a related field
- Active and unrestricted LPC LCSW or LMFT license in the state of practice
- Valid drivers license preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
