Basic Job Functions:

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.

• Perform monthly ATM cash and bank reconciliations.
• Monitor ATM cash usage for assigned Divisions work with Brinks to adjust standing orders as needed resolve vault cash balance differences and manage courier delivery issues.
• Primary responsibility for CRM new supplier and change approvals.
• Match/enter mill weights to settle shipments. Review accounts receivable and follow up on missing mill weights and payments.
• Apply cash to open AR.
• Work with Nucor Business Technology team directly to resolve Brokerage and Metals Group interface issues.
• Primary responsibility for handling Helpdesksupport tickets assigned to the group.
• Work with Division personnel to address issues with:Security/access shipment reversals payment & ticket voids freight issues.
• Work directly with transaction accounting software support to resolve issues that cannot be corrected internally.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or Business
• 3-5 years of accounting or other equivalent experience
• Bookkeeping/bank reconciliation/AR experience preferred

Preferences:

• Desire and aptitude for promotion including relocation
• Experience with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI
• CPAand/or Advanced Business degree
• Manufacturing or Public Accounting experience
