Job Title: LVN / LPN Outpatient Clinic
Location: Playa Vista CA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday Friday (5x8-hour shifts)
Shift: Day Shift (7:30 AM 5:30 PM)
Charting System: Epic
Position Summary
The LVN/LPN will provide direct patient care in an outpatient clinic setting supporting clinical operations and delivering high-quality patient-centered care. This role involves assisting with procedures monitoring patient conditions and ensuring accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor vital signs and perform patient assessments
- Administer medications (IM SQ oral) and vaccines
- Perform phlebotomy and initiate/maintain IVs
- Conduct EKG/ECG procedures
- Provide wound care and assist with wound vac management
- Perform blood glucose testing and specimen collection
- Assist with oxygen therapy (nasal cannula masks)
- Conduct telephone triage and provide patient education
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of LVN/LPN experience
- Active California LVN/LPN license (required)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Experience in an outpatient or clinic setting preferred
- Strong clinical communication and organizational skills.
