Position summaryPerforms operation to sand exposed wood frame parts fram sub-assmeblies and/or materials. Work on a variety of parts as assigned performing sanding operations for correct smoothness to ensure completion of work is to quantity and quality are an important part of the total compensation that is offered providing peace of mind and financial well-being. Benefit availability varies based on full-time or part-time employee Accountabilities/Critical Responsibilities:Roll cart/buggy of parts to wood parts to desired texture as required breaking sharp edges as needed using a pump side stroke lever stroker pneumatic orbital sander (jitterbug) and apply light pressure to smooth out the wood parts and glue and wood putty to fill-in cracks with a chisel and putty stack wood parts on cart/buggy as completed keep count of how many parts are completed/needed on ticket. If short notify team work area clean and perform other duties/special or non-routine assignments as to two years of experience sanding and in a manufacturing setting.
