About the Role

The Desktop System Administrator will support end users manage IT assets and help maintain a reliable secure desktop environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting providing hands-on support and keeping IT operations running smoothly.

What Youll Do

  • Provide desktop support for hardware software and network connectivity.
  • Install configure and troubleshoot desktops laptops and printers.
  • Manage IT assets including inventory tracking allocation and documentation.
  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding from a device standpoint.
  • Perform routine updates patches and security checks on desktops.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to resolve issues.
  • Maintain clear documentation of processes and resolutions.

What Were Looking For

  • 3-5 years of experience in desktop administration or IT support.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 Office 365 and Active Directory.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues.
  • Familiarity with asset tracking tools and basic networking concepts.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently in a part-time onsite role.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in a corporate IT environment.
  • Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator or ITIL Foundation.
