Job Summary

System Security Plans (SSPs) NIST 800-53 Risk Management Framework (RMF). Familiarity with STE/STN requirements.
Due to federal contract requirements United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.

Required:

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph (Polygraph must be within the last five (05) years).
  • Five (05) years of direct/relevant experience
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Assurance Information Security System Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. High school diploma/GED plus nine (09) years of relevant experience may be considered.
  • Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Tier 1 certification.
  • Experience on Defense-in-Depth principles network and enterprise security architecture.
  • Experience applying the principles of the NIST 800-53 including the procedures in the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Ensure the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for information systems.
  • Support continuous monitoring of networks to detect and correct areas of security non-compliance unmitigated vulnerabilities and other risks.
  • Follow consistent security processes and play a role in the information systems continuous monitoring program.
  • Perform regular audits of information systems.
  • Assist the information systems security manager in preparing for periodic reaccreditation.
$85000 - $140000 a year
The pay range for this job with multi-levels is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
