Job Summary
Our client University of Providence is searching for a strong Chief Financial Officer (CFO) andExecutive VP (EVP) for Strategy and Operations to lead at the highest levels of a missiondriven university in Great Falls Montana. This strategic leadership role directly supports student success institutional resilience and longterm sustainability. This is a pivotal executive role at a mission-driven Catholic university committed to student success institutional vitality and long-term sustainability. Reporting directly to the President and serving as a key member of the Presidents Cabinet the CFO/EVP will play a central role in shaping institutional strategy strengthening financial stewardship and advancing operational excellence in a collaborative purpose-centered academic community.

Responsibilities
As a trusted advisor to the President and Board of Trustees the CFO/EVP provides executive leadership across finance and core operational areas including facilities auxiliary services marketing and communications and other enterprise role leads all financial operations including budgeting forecasting audits investments capital planning and compliance while translating mission and strategy into sustainable financial and operational models. They also guide institutional decisionmaking during periods of growth fiscal constraint or change and represent the University with trustees regulators donors auditors and community partners.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is a seasoned executive with a masters degree (CPA or equivalent credential preferred) and 10 years of senior leadership experience ideally in higher education or a missiondriven organization. You bring strong financial acumen systems thinking and experience leading organizations through change paired with the ability to communicate clearly build trust across diverse stakeholders and lead with integrity accountability and purpose in a cabinetlevel role.
