Scientist I, Research Associate

Entegris is currently seeking anR&D ScientistIto join ourResearch and Developmentteamat our San Luis Obispo California location.

The Research Scientist will provide support for gas purification technologylocatedat our San Luis Obispo CA location. This position will contribute to next-generation technology development and applications-based activities of the R&D team through hands-on experimentation usingstate-of-the-artgas-phase analytical instrumentation (GC FT-IR APIMS CRDS etc.) as well as characterization tools such asporosimetry thermogravimetry and diffraction.

WhatYoullDo

• Maintainand execute defined research projects.

• Communicate results through written reports and oral presentations.

• Analyze and interpret test datamaintaindocumentation of test operation and ensure data quality and integrity.

• Reviewandfollowtestplans work instructions and other technical documents as.

• Provide management with weekly progress updates.

• Collaborate with and support other internal R&D and functional groups as needed.

• Create a healthy and safe work environment for all employees.

• Any other duties as assigned.

WhatWeSeek

• BS or MS in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering Mechanical Engineeringorsimilarscientific degree.

• Universitylab experience using analytical equipmentand data acquisition.

• Ability to clearly communicate technical information and ideas to internal audiences.

• Strong written and verbal communication.

• Good recordkeeping (lab notebook written testplansand reports
