Schedule:

• Shift: Day Shift (6:30 AM 5:00 PM)
• Schedule: 4x10s
• No Weekends No On-Call
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Cath Lab Tech to support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a fast-paced catheterization laboratory. This role requires strong technical skills attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile trays and organize procedure-specific equipment
• Prepare patients for procedures including EKG lead placement scrubbing and draping
• Set up and assist with patient monitoring and hemodynamic monitoring systems
• Calibrate and test transducers to ensure accurate readings
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Operate power injectors and digital imaging systems
• Manage image storage and ensure proper documentation and system uploads
• Assist in emergency situations to maintain patient stability
• Support sheath removal and vascular closure procedures
• Monitor inventory and ensure proper functioning of equipment
• Communicate effectively with patients and interdisciplinary care teams

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelors degree preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or invasive procedure setting
• CCL scrub experience required
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and hemodynamic monitoring

Preferred Skills

• Experience with peripheral and/or neuro procedures
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Ability to push/pull up to 100 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods during procedures
