BS in technical field 15 years experience OR
High School 20 years experience

Description:

Maintain and enhance existing applications and GUIs to include NetFlow and Port Security

Work on the Network Tools Services team to support customer requirements. The team works across multiple hosting platforms (OpenStack AWS and VMWare) supporting Linux VMs. This position allows you to learn about the product as well as dive deep into area of VM Management/DevOps.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain and enhance GUI frontend for Connectivity NetFlow & Port Security dashboard and the SNMP GUI

Some backend support in Typescript to support new and enhanced featuresMaintain poller collectors and data ingest functions using Java and Python

Database management (MongoDB Postgres or similar)

Required:
Strong Python development; minimum of 5 years of Python experience the past 5 years.
Docker
Experienced using Django or Flask
Database experience using MongoDB or MariaDB
ReST endpoint development
Micro service model
Preferred:
AWS or other cloud experience
JSON and/or XML serialization
Jira
Confluence
Git version control
Agile

Salary varies based on Years of experience: $160000-$180000
A variety of factors can impact the final salary offered including but not limited to geographic location Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates relevant work experience specialized skills and competencies education and certifications.
