**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Mobile Service Technician to join the team at Payne Weslaco Ford. The Mobile Service Technician will be responsible for providing on-site maintenance diagnosis and repairs for customer vehicles. Applicants must be 21 years or older and possess a valid drivers license for a minimum of 3 consecutive years. **Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or automotive training preferred
- Proven experience as an automotive technician mobile service technician or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of automotive systems diagnostic tools and repair procedures
- Valid drivers license for at least 3 consecutive years with a clean driving record
- Exceptional communication and customer service abilities
- Strong ability to work autonomously and effectively manage time

**Responsibilities:**
- Travel to various customer locations to conduct vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Perform regular maintenance tasks like oil changes tire rotations and brake inspections
- Diagnose and rectify engine transmission electrical and other automotive issues
- Interact with customers to explain repairs and provide cost estimates
- Ensure all work is executed accurately and in a timely fashion
- Maintain precise records of services and parts utilized
- Keep the work vehicle and equipment clean and organized

**Physical Requirements:**
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Able to stand walk bend and reach for extended durations
- Possess good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
