Financial Counselor Make a Meaningful Impact in Patient Care

At Collin Springs Behavioral Hospital our team is dedicated to changing livesand our Financial Counselors play a vital role in that mission. As a trusted resource for patients and families youll help navigate the financial side of care with clarity compassion and confidence.

What Youll Do:

• Guide patients and families through financial responsibilities with empathy and transparency
• Verify insurance coverage and clearly explain benefits and out-of-pocket costs
• Help patients understand their options including payment plans and funding resources
• Collaborate with patients to create fair manageable financial solutions
• Ensure accurate and timely insurance verification and documentation

What You Bring:

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Knowledge of insurance types (HMO PPO Medicare Medicaid commercial) preferred
• Passion for helping others and making a difference

What were looking for
Applicants should have a high school diploma. Additional requirements include:

• Previous experience in healthcare collections or a related field or any combination of education training or experience in health care business office setting preferred.
• Valid drivers license preferred
• May be required to work flexible hours and overtime. Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
