The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Sales Administrator to support our Sales organization and enhance the effectiveness of day-to-day sales operations. This role will work in close partnership with the current sales administration function providing coordination structure and executional support across the sales lifecycle.
You will play a central role in aligning activities across Sales Finance Legal and Operations ensuring processes run smoothly information is accurate and priorities are effectively managed. This position is critical in enabling the Sales team to focus on customer engagement and revenue generation while maintaining strong operational discipline behind the scenes.
Location of Position:
This is a hybrid position based in our Raleigh NC office.
Specifically the Sales Administrator is responsible for:
Sales Operations & Coordination
- Maintain and update CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) with accurate customer opportunity and pipeline data
- Coordinate and support sales activities across the full lifecycle ensuring alignment across stakeholders
- Act as a central point of coordination for sales-related processes timelines and follow-ups
- Ensure consistency accuracy and completeness of data across systems
Order & Contract Management
- Support the creation review and processing of quotes orders and contract documentation
- Partner with Finance Legal and Operations to facilitate contract execution and order fulfillment
- Track order status and proactively manage outstanding items to closure
Reporting & Insights
- Prepare and maintain regular sales reports dashboards and pipeline summaries
- Support forecasting and pipeline reviews through accurate and timely data management
- Identify data gaps or process inefficiencies and take action to resolve them
Administrative & Team Support
- Provide administrative support to the Sales team including coordination of meetings materials and documentation
- Support onboarding of new sales team members with tools systems and processes
- Assist with customer communications and follow-ups as needed
What you bring:
Education and experience:
- 25 years of experience in sales administration sales operations or a similar role
- Strong proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Excel
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams
- Experience supporting a B2B or technology sales organization is an asset
