This role oversees daily quality operations supports and guides Quality Inspectors and works closely with management to maintain compliance and continuous Team Leader Job Responsibilities:Oversee initial in-process and final inspections as requiredLead dock audits receiving inspections and shipping inspectionsReview and verify completion of quality documentation and formsEnsure non-conforming products do not leave company premisesOversee outbound shipment scanning to ensure accuracy and quality controlEnsure compliance with all established quality procedures and standardsCommunicate quality concerns shipment discrepancies and scanning issues to managementIdentify and address damaged items staged in outbound baysPerform operational checks to monitor adherence to company proceduresAccurately document outbound audit results and maintain quality logsMaintain inventory counts in assigned areasTrain coach and support Quality Inspectors and warehouse associatesServe as the point of contact for quality-related questions and escalationsCommunicate daily with management and team members regarding performance and expectationsAssist with continuous improvement initiatives and corrective actionsPerform other duties as assignedQuality Team Leader Job Requirements:High school diploma/GED equivalent requiredPrevious quality inspection or auditing experience required; leadership experience preferredStrong communication and leadership skillsAbility to read write and communicate effectivelyAbility to work with a diverse group of peopleAbility to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to bend lift stoop walk and stand for long periods of timeAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to read interpret and understand work orders and packaging specificationsBasic computer skills (e.g. Word Excel Outlook)Employees in all warehouse positions must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells alarms and horns used to warn employees of equipment start-up movement or potential hazards within warehouse operations
