Job Summary:
The Payne Edinburg Mainline Service Advisor will be responsible for assisting customers with their vehicle service needs providing recommendations on maintenance and repairs and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. This role requires strong communication skills automotive knowledge and a customer-focused approach.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership setting
- Strong knowledge of Dodge vehicles including service requirements and maintenance schedules
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and service technicians
- Proficient in using automotive service software systems to schedule appointments create estimates and input service recommendations
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage customer appointments and follow-up communication
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide a warm welcome to the service department
- Listen to customer concerns and vehicle issues then accurately document and convey this information to the service technicians
- Provide recommendations for necessary maintenance and repairs based on vehicle inspections and customer input
- Communicate service timelines costs and updates to customers in a clear and professional manner
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely completion of work and quality standards are met
- Follow up with customers after service to confirm satisfaction and address any additional needs or concerns
- Maintain accurate records of service transactions customer interactions and vehicle history in the service database
- Stay up to date on industry trends manufacturer recommendations and service department processes through training and professional development opportunities.
