What this job involves

Our Transaction Management team helps clients strategize evaluate and execute real estate transactions to meet their business and occupancy needs. Our Sr. Transaction Manager will manage and execute complex lease transactions while fostering client relationships and business growth. This position will be responsible for overseeing regular reporting budgets cash flow forecasts memorandum documenting significant client issues and strategic planning. This position works as the lead Transaction Manager on an account(s); will collaborate and share workload with Analysts and possibly other Transaction Managers. This position will also work on and will be asked to direct special projects/assignments as needed. Our Sr. Transaction Manager will manage and work with professionals across a wide variety of disciplines and business units and should have the ability to recognize opportunities to bring additional services to existing client(s)/partner with the Account Lead(s) to assemble broader teams to support the client as required. Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects to successful outcomes is paramount. Ability to think strategically and act proactively. Creates strong client trust and confidence. Helps team foster growth of junior talent.

Manage Client Relationships

  • Assume key transaction responsibilities for strategic clients primarily industrial occupiers

  • Provide advice on client transactions

  • Lead regular client meetings and conference calls including weekly transaction update meetings

  • Improve client transaction management processes

  • Work directly with clients and team members to resolve financial model transaction and landlord issues

  • Manage building tours with the client

  • Manage transaction reporting to the clients

Transactions Leadership & Execution

  • Independently manages and executes acquisition and disposition transactions of all sizes with high level of proficiency and knowledge

  • Delivers measurable value by negotiating favorable economic and flexible lease terms for the client and documenting same

  • Build customized reports dashboards and analytics specific to account team usage

  • Assist Client in completing a large number of transactions annually and independently execute lease of all types and sizes while adhering to Jones Lang LaSalles and the Clients processes and standards for expertise and professionalism

  • Actively monitor progress of assigned transactions as well as those of teammates/other transactions support resources (if applicable)

  • Collect client requirements obtain market data review market reports retain real estate broker partners nationally oversee site selection and site evaluation create requests for proposals (RFPs) negotiate letters of intent leases purchase and sale agreements and prepare approval packages for clients senior management

  • Develop occupancy cost savings strategies develop and evaluate alternative occupancy solutions and financial structures and refine existing transaction processes and procedures

  • Review commission invoices for accuracy and progress on payment; review Dealio for accuracy and assure it is updated regularly

Interested An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications:

Required

  • A Bachelors degree is required.

  • 7-10 years of relevant work experience with at least 4-8 years as a Transaction Manager CRE experience.

  • Seasoned transaction management experience with proven skills in contract review and lease/purchase and sale negotiations.

  • Experience working with corporate clients to achieve real estate objectives.

  • Solid understanding of financial and accounting impacts.

  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

  • Excellent negotiating analytical communication collaboration organization/planning and process skills.

  • Strong ability to interpret and communicate business intelligence/data analytics.

  • Outstanding client service skills.

  • Coach and develop junior teammates to reach full potential lead a diverse team.

Estimated compensation for this position:

115000..00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications location market conditions and internal considerations.
