Physician Infectious Disease Full Time Academic

Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center- Shreveport seek applicants for an Infectious Disease position. Must be board certified/ board eligible in Infectious Disease and eligible for active Louisiana Medical Licensure. Graduating ID fellows are welcome to apply. This position is for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases.

Areas of clinical and research interest include HIV medicine and literacy transplant infections antimicrobial stewardship viral hepatitis and algae infections

More than 800 students are enrolled in the degree programs at any one time. Additionally nearly 600 residents and fellows are trained each year.

• Collegial and multidisciplinary team of physicians and nurses to collaborate on a customized plan of care for each patient.
